Description

:star:THE BASICS: If you wanna draw him without reading all of his history and stuff! :star:
Personality: Stubborn, sarcastic, irritable (partly), confrontational, daring, merciful, repentant, even-tempered (mostly), self-reliant, private, methodical.
Misc Stuff to Note: In his every day and "fencer" outfits (furthest right tron looking bullshit), his eyes are red due to corruption.  In the French-revolution-y looking one, they're blue.
In the fencer outfit, his skin is super pale and his eyes are sunken in.
The lining on the fencer outfit glows to indicate the level of mind control he's under, and only one color glows at a time.
He has a bike (there's a thumbnail near the bottom of this description) if you're interested in trying to draw that too!
He can dual wield swords but I haven't designed them yet, so unless you've been asked to draw him with swords you can just leave them out!  (I might want some creative license or something, who knows?  Will edit this out when the sword design is done)

EDIT: Dec 5, 2015: Corrected (?) some colors (saturation and contrast) since fixing his hair last time made his skin look way too light in the non-pasty versions.

Feel free to download for full size if you're being commissioned/traded/etc for art!

Background:He grew up poor but happy, with his single mom and big sister.  During his late teens, his home planet was under threat of invasion and enslavement by a neighboring world, and he joined a promising faction of mercenaries called the Vincere Coalition.  It turns out, these people were led (or rather, controlled) by Varziel The Decadent Deity: Varziel (Updated design) by StrangelyIsolated and he ended up sacrificing his family, friends, home, willpower, and his own humanity to "save" his planet and people.  Lloyd ended up becoming a killing machine and even mindslave for a very long time until Varziel bored of him, mostly because of the constant bickering between Lloyd and Meten, another member of the coalition (Sheet forthcoming).  During his "service," he razed entire cities because one person had pissed Varz off, or he would kidnap people that had been deemed a threat and/or important.  He still to this day does not know what happened to those he captured for the coalition.

After he was "freed," he lived a deathless, miserable existence, constantly remembering the horrors he had committed against countless poor souls.  He wallowed for some time before flying into a rage with a lust for blood.  He knew Varziel was still out there, ruining the lives of billions of people, for his own entertainment.  So Lloyd went on a killing spree, thinking he'd put the other Vincere Coalition members out of their misery, particularly the ones who had little to no grasp on their own consciousness anymore.  That's when he found his first City Eater, and realized immediately who had unleashed this new horror.  Feeling like he'd been slapped in the face twice now, he swore vengeance on this "god" himself and started tracking the City Eaters wherever he heard of them appearing.  He wiped out all that he could, and Varziel became incensed, or possibly amused, and started siccing them on him in some sort of twisted reverse-hunt.  It didn't take long for plenty of star systems to associate his appearance with the monsters (typically he was the only one who survived due to his powers granted from Varziel), and instead of enlightening the universe to Varziel's corruption, he was branded the most wanted demon/monster/horror/etc in many galaxies (he was no longer considered human by anyone who knew of him).

Lloyd was traversing the stars as a vagrant, looking for clues on Varziel's exact location, as impossible as that may seem.  His quest for vengeance and to free reality from the clutches of the despicable deity has been increasingly compounded by the fact that he can't show his face almost anywhere or risk drawing the City Eaters to fresh meat and incite panic should he be recognized.  Most recently, though, he ran into a young girl named  Uriko in the aftermath of the destruction of a city, who he has become more and more devoted to for some reason.  Presently, they are traveling together for convenience and mostly for Uriko's safety.  His motives for helping her are unknown, since he's typically a self-serving loner.  As of now, he's acting reluctant, almost grudgingly, in letting her tag along, but he's warming up to her.

Personality: (-) Stubborn, sarcastic, irritable (partly), confrontational (+) Daring, merciful, repentant, self-reliant (Neutral) Even-tempered (mostly), private, methodical.
He is stubborn and somewhat selfish to a point. Often, he is reserved and lost in thought.  As of late, he's been having to be the voice of reason for Uriko, which seems to irritate him as she tends to ignore his logic.  Generally, he's described as having a sleepy look about him.  He enjoys banter (MAD BANTZ) with friends and foes alike, usually one-upping everyone in contests of wit without fail.  He used to be extremely short-tempered and would start fights with anyone who even looked at him funny, but he's been trying to stop beating the shit out of the unwitting resting-bitch-face'd people he meets.  Sometimes he slips up and will punch someone's face in until he's physically held back, but it's happening less and less often.  Improvement!  Lloyd has what we would equate to a stereotypical Canadian accent, despite it being a long-long-long-dead dialect in this story.  Anyone who, for whatever reason, recognizes this accent and doesn't just think he says things weird is more than likely to call him an old geezer over the fact that anyone who spoke like that's been dead for millions of years.  His voice is rather monotonous, possibly due to constant fatigue.

Misc:
-I didn't draw them here, but he dual wields two black and silver swords. I'm working on their design because I'm feeling AMBITIOUS and I ALREADY HAVE OVER 40 THINGS I'M WORKING ON NOW SO WHY NOT ADD ONE MORE!!  The swords are made of Maelstrom, the primordial material that constitutes the universe, granted to him by Varziel when he joined the coalition.  The military and fencer outfits are made of the same material, as is his motorcycle.
-Oh by the way, he has a motorcycle which I will not ever draw because I'm a puss.   HERE'S THE BIKE Lloyd's Bike by StrangelyIsolated
-In his every day attire (the left 2), his eyes are red, corrupted from his naturally blue eyes in the red military outfit.
-The military outfit preserves/revives his original look when he first joined Varziel's forces. His eyes are naturally blue and the suit renders them the colour they were when he first wore it.
-When he is in his "fencer" outfit, his skin is pale and his eyes are sunken in/sickly looking. His pupils are dilated and he has a slit across his iris and pupil much like Varziel has. There are only three possible moods and they DO NOT OVERLAP. If you draw him in this uniform, please only pick one of the moods. For the curious, the "resisting" mood is because while in that suit, he is completely under Varziel's control. The white will only show when his will overpowers Varziel which happens never/rarely.
